What is the who, what, when, where, why of this conference?
UMW Academy 2021: Exhale is a virtual conference being held on May 13th presented by the Center for Teaching and Digital Learning Support. The goal of the day is to gather faculty and staff together and take a collective exhale and informally share our successes from a challenging academic year. Members of the UMW community will make short presentations addressing how they supported student learning and what lessons they will take forward. Panel conversations will highlight diverse ways our faculty and staff community all participated in providing our students learning, social, and support experiences online and in-person. We did so much this year, and this is our chance to share and celebrate that work.

I can’t participate the entire day. Is that okay?
We all have different schedules, responsibilities, and interests, so we designed the conference to allow you to attend when you can and to freely choose what online sessions you attend. If you only have a brief time available on May 13th, that is fine! We would love to have you join us for the sessions you want to see in the time you have available.
